If the activity is group work, the students are able to create independently your group in order to submit the assignment
How to Create group
1. Click “Create group”
2. Set the name of the group. (To prevent issues with file downloads, please avoid using special characters and emojis in group names and file names. It is recommended to use only letters (A-Z, a-z), numbers (0-9), hyphens (-), or underscores (_) instead.)
3. Manage the member from the list on the right side.
4. Click “Save” to save the change for the submission.
How to Edit or Leave Group
To edit or change a group name, click "Edit group" and update the name directly.
- Adding/removing group members or changing the group name will not affect the submission status of the assignment.
- Then, select the member you want to remove. (Note: You cannot remove yourself from a group.)
- If you are the only member in the group, you can leave the group on your own by going to the group activity, clicking the drop-down menu, and selecting "Leave this group".
- If you can't find the student you want to add to your group, but they are listed in the classroom, it means that the student is already part of another group.
